WIHA facebook and people who live on it. Last night for example, a girl I know posts “goodnight”. Nothing else, only that! And 3 people “liked” it! WTF? This morning, she posted “goodmorning” and 2 people “liked” it! These are the kind of post we want to encourage?

I stopped following one friend because she posted everytime her son hugged her, each time she cooked, and “getting ready for work”. And these stupid post got dozens of likes. This is what people want to read about?

Ok fine. Here is my post for this morning “good morning! I just farted!”

WIHA US passport control officers. Why do we allow the employees who check passports in a booth at international airports to wear sidearms? Why do these positions need to be armed? Most other countries dont arm passport control. But the us wants a show of power … and the employees who sit in these booths want to feel they have power and are important rather than admit what they are … paper pushers.

WIHA coffee shops. Why is it starbucks brand stores can “do it right” regardless of what country you are in, while other us chains like seattles best and bo’s can not? And seattle best is OWNED by starbucks!

Try to get sugar free vanilla syrup anywhere but starbucks. Forget about it. I guess those of us who need sugar free syrup aren’t welcome at the other brands including starbucks sister store seattle best!

WIHA manila airport. I fly through this airport often. First, you wait 30 minutes outside the terminal waiting to go through xray to get in the terminal. Then you go through security to get to the gates. Then if you are flying to the usa, you go through another xray mandated by the us govt, who doesn’t trust the first two security xrays you went through.

WIHA Thailand. Less than one-third of all drivers actually have drivers licenses! So the brilliant government made the WRITTEN test so hard that as of June 2014, only 1 out of 10 attempting the test actually pass! The result? Now few people trying to get a drivers license, since the fine for no license is cheaper and easier than dealing with the stupid drivers license bureaucracy! Idiots.

WIHA the Philippines. 90% of the population that rides motorcycles don’t wear helmets. So instead of encouraging them to wear any kind of helmet (bicycle, football, anything!), the government passed a law that all helmets had to have a special government certification sticker. Price of helmets increased the next day. And it is the same helmets! Only more expensive.

WIHA the Philippines. They have the worst Tourist Attractions. Then I figured out why — they don’t have any tourist from outside of the Philippines that go to them! The only tourists that visit these crappy, overpriced places are Filippinos who don’t know what a real tourist attraction should be.

Writers of TV shows must take a stupid pill

Writers.  Some of them must be geniuses.  And somewhere along the line, someone must convince them that they will get more ideas if they take these special pills (only the pills are STUPID pills).  Keeping reading and I’ll explain.

One of my previously cancelled favorite shows was THE UNIT.  Excellent show and in the beginning, excellent writing.  Until the stupid pill was passed around.  At first, episodes were based on start-to-finish-in-one-episode stories that were believable enough to keep viewers intrigued.  With the quiet that surrounds special forces, and the not-so-quiet use of special forces by President Obama, viewers didn’t know […] Continue Reading…

I hate pics of girls flipping the finger

You see it all the time .. girls taking pictures flipping the finger. I thought that I didn’t like it when they made the strange V or Peace symbol, but I can live with that. But now younger and younger kids have picked up on flipping the bird and adults seem to think it is “cute”.

It is not cute. It is not cute when the adult girls do it. Why do we encourage this??

I think it is trashy; and everybody does it now on facebook. Even really young kids are posting pics showing the middle finger.

Yeah, they say it is the new style “gang-sta”. But I agree with you toni.

I use torrents. Why does that make me a criminal.

So I live most of the year in another country. I have premium cable in my house in USA but I am never there. The only way to watch the shows I like are by downloading torrents.

But everyone says that torrents are costing the movie companies and cable companies gazillions of dollars. WHY? How did I cost them any money?

I have the right to sit in front of my tv and watch all the TV shows I like. But I am not there and can’t sit in front and don’t have enough bandwidth to watch over the internet.

    So why […] Continue Reading…
